It's been a long hiatus for sure since I posted an DA journal entry...

I've been reading my previous journals updates and oh, well... I miss my young and naive times so much! (26 years old now here, I feel my back sometimes hehehehehehe not a so young adult anymore)

I finished college and now, I've been on a sorta vacation from business time. But still there's two reasons I'm not been post so frequently on DA:

1) I'm trying to study hard to enter a speciality in my area and to start a decent professional life. It's a hell lotta pressure for sure.

2)As you all been noticing, my gallery is now full on traditional art. One of the reasons: I don't have anymore a decent computer program to color my drawings. Well, coloring was never among my strongest features. So, I'm training traditional art for the moment. Hey, everyone! It has been a very long time since I wrote my last journal! 

Well, yesterday I downloaded PAINT TOOL SAI and I will try to paint my drawings with that program instead of good ol' GIMP. I see the results are more professional with PAINT TOOL SAI but the problem is... I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO USE THAT!!!!!111111111 

1) I don't know how to save and export my drawings directly into my archives. The buttons to save them simply don't work. I'm using ctrl + print to export my .jpeg archives into the paint tool sai platform. Silly, I know.

2) Coloring. I see the tools are more easy to find than the GIMP ones and I have Paint tool SAI translated in portuguese so it's fine, but I still have no clue how to paint without covering the lines of my drawings (ex: face, hair, eyes lines). It's really complicated.

I will look for tutorials for my own improvement when I'm having my free time. Ah! If you have a quick explanation about how to use the program for coloring and adding shadow and light effects, please send a message to me. A little help will be very welcome!  

Well, let's see if my next drawing will be with Paint Tool SAI!

 Hi, I'm writing again! XD Well, 2013 was a year full of news and happenings, so I don't even know how to start this journal. This year I went to the college, I'm studying medicine. It was pretty much complicated, everything changed but I guess I became stronger than ever! Well, drawing is my hobby and I will continue on it, It's my way to be relieved from the amount of daily stress *I am not going to say my life is shitty but sometimes it seems a bit of pressure ruins the day for me and we just can't keep this pressure in our little hearts forever* 

Now I'm reaching the point. Everyone. Well, as I said the paragraph ago, Drawing is my hobby and it is intended to be my source of fun. I recognize my works are not that great and sometimes it only reflects slightly my original ideas that are much better in my mind. But I resolved that's not better in any way to take pressure for any kind of criticism or even the most simply rude form of bullying that may come through my way. Then, I don't get why some people here on DA take only the negative comments  into account or compare themselves with a talented  - including the trained and professional kind here - artist to feed their inferiority complex. If your art is not your source of fun anymore you just need to relax or even take a pause on uploading things to start again. Of course, trying to improve is a welcoming effort, but you can reach your objectives well with a more relaxed mood and disconnected from the fear of mistakes. 

I do not lie - we all have fears of not succeeding well in our tasks-  the problem appears when we become obsessed with it following an imaginary idea of perfection. Well, some of my old drawings are still here, even though I don't have the same feelings for them anymore. I see them all as a part of my learning evolution, so there's no point in deleting them for me. Well,  I was thinking about requesting critics into some part of my gallery, but still it  seems kind like of an uncomfortable thought for me. I want to know what you think about it  in the comments. 

Ah, I haven't upload anything this year and I wish to do it soon. But I'm lacking of ideas and getting too lazy to start, then I had no prediction of a new drawing joining my gallery this month. May it be...

Sorry, people, I havent post any news for a very long time. Well, Im on college now, a lot of things happening and I feel there is a lot to learn too. I will try to post drawings, of course, but I have so many things to focus, im on adaptation. However, uploading drawings is getting easier because of my new camera, but im sketching just simple ones. Sometimes, my ideas are too fast and its complicated to come everyone in reality. Hope you all understand it.

People. No, just kidding, I dont like arrogance, flatness, harsh and abusive people.

YES. Fiction has the fascination that reality doesnt have. Yes, call me an escapist.

The fellowship of the ring: Aragorn, Legolas... Ah, Thorin is an awesome dwarf on the movie. He is a bit different from what I have  imagined, but I like it anyway!
